Despite some swell and rainy periods, the fleet enjoys this protected anchorage and the hospitability of its inhabitants. Come on a bus tour with Carlos and hike a nice valley hike followed by a great inexpensive fresh fish & veg at Anna’s.

Thanks to the big effort of Jackie and Lutz from Marina Mindelo, the fleet got special permission to berth inside the tiny harbor on that week-end when no inter-island ferry would be coming in. Congratulations to all the skippers and crew who tested their skills to raft up.

A very enjoyable day trip from Mindelo. You could go on your own and hire a taxi or you can arrange ahead a bus tour with one of the tour operators in Mindelo. Go up the top of the mountains then down deep in the valleys … Have a nice lunch at Maracuja restaurant and try to not miss the last ferry back!
