The French yacht Tubalcain makes a safe landfall in Mindelo late on Friday.
The crew of Tubalcain, happy to have made it into the marina just before nightfall at the end of the passage from Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The remaining three boats in the Caribbean Odyssey, Sina, Serenity and Wilderness slowed down in the approaches to Mindelo to await daylight, seen here on AIS.
Sina was the first to arrive in Mindelo just as it got light.
Sina was followed after a few minutes by Serenity.
In spite of the early hour, some of the crews of the other Caribbean Odyssey boats came to welcome their friends on Sina and Serenity.
With Wilderness the last to arrive
