On the passage from Sevilla to Tenerife we had a technical problem which we were hoping to solve on arrival. Unfortunately it turned out to be much more serious than we had expected and rather then stay here and wait for it to be sorted out, we decided to sail back to La Grande Motte, where Aventura Zero was built, and deal with this problem there. One major reason why we decided to decide to sail so quickly is an unusual stream of southerly winds between Tenerife and Gibraltar, which means that we should have favourable winds for at least the first three days.
I shall report with a more details on our situation in the next few days but I wanted everyone to know the reason why we are suddenly sailing north and not south.
