The Australian catamaran Vivant crossed the finish line in the driving rain on Friday morning at 0809, having achieved a very pleasant Atlantic crossing in a little under 16 days.
David, Berverly and their crew Jeremy were very happy with their navigation and extremely satisfied with the boat which had not suffered any technical issues.
They were welcomed into the marina by the Deputy Mayor of Le Marin, Mr Raymond Janvier, representatives from the Marin Tourism Office and of course the Cornell Sailing Team.
After a short rest, the crew will enjoy a welcome cocktail organised to celebrate the first Atlantic Odyssey arrivals in Le Marin.
