The Odyssey sailors welcomed kids from the SOS Children’s Villages aboard their boat on 18 November, then hosted a potluck meal for them at Marina Mindelo. The SOS Children’s Villages foundation supports abandoned children and young people around the world, and has a community and school in Mindelo.

The children loved the activity, the experience of knowing the yachts and the conviviality with children and people of other countries. It was a unique experience that will stay in their memory for life.
