Aventura IV, Jimmy Cornell‘s last boat, is a Garcia Exploration 45, a boat designed to sail and live aboard both in high latitudes and tropical waters. She is an aluminium yacht of 13.50 meters incorporating some unique features never seen in a yacht of this type before.

Aventura’s Route – 2014 & 2015

After an impressive 24,000 miles of sailing, Jimmy Cornell’s Aventura has experienced quite an adventure. Subsequent to setting sail from Cherbourg in 2014 this Exploration 45 has since completed the North-West passage in 2015, mapping a remarkable amount of nautical miles.
