Nera crosses the Arctic circle

Nera crosses the Arctic circle

I knew in the back of my mind that I would get seasick, but the reality
is a lot less appetising than the thought. I threw up twice in about 1
hour, but not again after that and I now feel a lot better.

Your body has to get used to the constant movement of the boat: this can
take up to 3 days.

We started from Nuuk the capital of Greenland, and sailed up the
Greenland coast to Aasiaat. This was 300 miles, two nights at sea, and
we arrived on the third day.

Yesterday, we crossed the Arctic Circle at latitude, 66°34. I think
that’s a great accomplishment.
