{"id":37529,"date":"2016-03-15T01:33:42","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T01:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/2016\/03\/little-bit-caribbean-sunshine-wintry-london-2\/"},"modified":"2016-03-22T23:06:32","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T23:06:32","slug":"little-bit-caribbean-sunshine-wintry-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/fr\/2016\/03\/little-bit-caribbean-sunshine-wintry-london\/","title":{"rendered":"A little bit of Caribbean Sunshine in wintry London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jimmy and Doina Cornell held another successful <a href=\"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/2016\/01\/jimmy-cornell-transatlantic-preparation-seminar-london-march-2016\/\">day\u2019s seminar on transatlantic voyage planning<\/a> at the <em>Cruising Association<\/em> headquarters in Limehouse London on Saturday 12 March.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions combined theory with practical advice and a unique chance to visit Jimmy\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/aventura\/about-aventura\/\"><em>Aventura<\/em><\/a>, docked in Limehouse fresh from her successful transit of the Northwest Passage in the summer of 2015.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/LongDistanceC-London-2016-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jimmy Cornell gives a practical demonstration of Aventura\u2019s foredeck set up for downwind sailing.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/LongDistanceC-London-2016-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Seventy six years old and still going strong!
