{"id":17409,"date":"2014-12-14T18:01:16","date_gmt":"2014-12-14T18:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/2014\/12\/last-weekend-paris-boat-show-2\/"},"modified":"2017-05-21T18:03:55","modified_gmt":"2017-05-21T17:03:55","slug":"last-weekend-paris-boat-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/fr\/2014\/12\/last-weekend-paris-boat-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Last Weekend at the Paris Boat Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nautic2014-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" \/><br \/> The second weekend of the <em>Paris Boat Show<\/em> attracted many visitors with a very crowded Friday evening when the show kept its doors open until 10pm.<\/p>\n<p>Being invited to sign books on the stand of <em>Voiles et Voiliers<\/em> magazine is always an opportunity to meet people from all over the world, who either have been reading my books or following my adventures. Saturday morning I was visited by pupils from a local school, who wanted to know how they could become sailors themselves.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nautic2014-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" \/><br \/> There was also a visit from my youngest fans, Lucien and Marius Gitton, who came accompanied by their six-months old sister Sophia. They had visited <em>Aventura<\/em> with their parents Natalia and Antoine before our departure from Cherbourg, and had been following our adventures at every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nautic2014-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" \/><br \/> By an old established tradition there was a reception of <em>Allures<\/em>, <em>Garcia<\/em> and <em>Outremer<\/em> yacht owners.
