A comfortable corner had been set aside for Jimmy to receive a stream of visitors, most of whom had been following <a href=\"http:\/\/cornellsailing.com\/category\/aventura-logs\/\">his regular reports<\/a> from <em>Aventura\u2019s<\/em> maiden voyage to the Arctic.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nautic2014-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Garcia Yachting stand at the Paris Boat Show<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Among the first visitors was Ms. Wendy Watson-Wright, Assistant Director General of <em>UNESCO<\/em> and Executive Secretary of the <em>Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Nautic2014-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ms. Wendy Watson-Wright and Jimmy Cornell at the Paris Boat show<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Thanks to a close and fruitful collaboration with this august body, all <em>Cornell Sailing Events<\/em> are run under the auspices of <em>UNESCO-IOC<\/em>, with a range of research projects being undertaken by participants in the various Odysseys.
