The last three Atlantic Odyssey<\/em> boats made a safe landfall in Barbados today, with perfect timing for tonight\u2019s welcome and prize giving party at the Barbados Yacht Club<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The first to arrive was Wellis<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The crew of Wellis<\/em>, delighted and happy at the end of a 24-day passage from Tenerife, which included a 24-hour stop in Mindelo, in the Cape Verde Islands.<\/p>\n

Falkor<\/em> followed them a few minutes later.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Shamrock<\/em> brought up the rear soon after noon\u2026. and, with the exception of Mercator<\/em>, all Atlantic Odyssey<\/em> chickens were safely in!<\/p>\n

Having completed entry formalities at the special clearance facility provided for the Atlantic Odyssey<\/em> boats, all three proceeded to the Careenage, the small boat harbour in the centre of the capital Bridgetown.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The bridge opens to let the first boat enter the enclosed pool.<\/p>\n
