Taking part in the Atlantic Odyssey<\/em> for the second time, Belgian catamaran Mercredi Soir<\/em> has had a perfect crossing.<\/p>\n

The family crew spanning three generations took only 15 days to make the 2800 miles of ocean from Lanzarote to Martinique, without any mishaps spoiling the great mood on board.<\/p>\n

The champagne was uncorked as soon as the start line was crossed at 1410 local time, and the welcome committee, composed of the Cornell Sailing<\/em> Team and the Tourism Office of Le Marin<\/em> were on the dock ready to take the lines and extend a warm welcome with lovely local flowers and much appreciated traditional Martinique rum!<\/p>\n

The next boat to arrive will be the Australian catamaran Vivant<\/em>, expected tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n
