The first Islands Odyssey<\/em> yachts have arrived in the Cape Verdes following a 700 mile passage from El Hierro in the Cape Verdes.<\/p>\n

Vetocean<\/em> was the first to arrive on Thursday 19th November. By\u00a0midday on\u00a0Friday 20th November\u00a0most of the remainder of the fleet had also arrived. Lufi of Guernsey<\/em> had delayed their start from the Canaries due to a minor injury and will be a few days behind.<\/p>\n

After 5 days and 7 hours at sea we arrived in Cape Verde, Sao Vicente, Marina Mindelo yesterday afternoon at 15:28, local! The trip was persistently rough, with high seas, fluky and gusting winds up to 30 knots.<\/span>Time to relax and “regroup” !<\/p>\n

Des cr\u00eates tortur\u00e9es dans la brume et le contre-jour, c\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019est apparue S\u00e3o Vicente apr\u00e8s 5 jours et 9 heures de mer, le temps de changer d\u2019archipel et d\u2019arriver en Afrique. Quelques heures de moteur le 2\u00e8me jour (p\u00e9tole) et juste avant d\u2019atterrir, pour le reste un long voyage rythm\u00e9 seulement par les divers \u00e9v\u00e8nements du bord.<\/em><\/p>\n

Enfin bref, nous voil\u00e0 \u00e0 Mindelo et c\u2019est bien excitant. On n\u2019a que 4 jours pour visiter, c\u2019est un peu court pour les 10 \u00eeles du Cap Vert. Du coup, on restera sur S\u00e3o Vicente.<\/em><\/p>\n
